Mrs. Thurow received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1992 and returned to college to earn another Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies with an elementary teaching certificate in 1996.  She substitute taught for a year and was then hired by Shelby Public Schools in August of 1997. While teaching for Shelby she has taught all grade levels from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.


Mrs. Thurow has taught elementary school for 17 years in the Shelby Public School system.  She has taught every grade level K-5.  She and her husband have a dairy farm in Mason County where they are rearing two young boys.  She enjoys running, snow shoeing, reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
